Ironi Bet Secondary school is striving for excellence while recognizing diversity. The school works cross-subject with Arts and Science, and the city of Modiin supports as a learning city the open science schooling of the Ironi Bet school. Ironi Bet’s secret of its success lies in encouraging the involvement of students, teachers, parents, the local authority and the entire community in school activities. Students become actively involved in knowledge creation rather than simply being passive recipients of ‘facts’. This provides students with the basis for continuing to learn and develop throughout life. The students are involved in various social projects such as maintaining a green environment, collecting groceries for the needy, etc. Our students have participated and won in many Scientific international competitions and especially in the field of renewable energy and Robotics.

“Our mission this year isn’t only to win the FRC competition, but also to make a change in our school’s environment, by trying to reach as many pupils as we can with our robotics team and contribute as much as we can to the community, as a team.” From Ironi Bet’s team of robotics Facebook page

Ironi Bet promotes teaching and learning processes in order to bring the student to achieve a personal best by maximizing the abilities and through education of Israeli, humanistic and democratic values. There is a strong belief that the more students feel connected and involved in the school and in the community so that they will feel better as a whole. In addition, it is essential to develop the care and responsibility of students towards others, in class first, and, then further, in wider circles of the school, the community, and the city of Modiin.
